• Led NCAA with 1.14 ERA
• Became just the second NCAA statistical champion from UVa, joining Seth Greisinger, who won the NCAA ERA title in 1996 (1.76)

• Earned wins over George Washington (2/19), Bucknell (2/24) and Miami (3/25)
• Notched career highs for innings pitched (6.0) and strikeouts (9) in win over GW
• Also went six innings at Wake Forest (3/11) with seven strikeouts in his ACC debut
• Hurled 5.1 scoreless innings against Miami in Virginia’s 3-0 win (3/25)
• Blanked Clemson for 5.1 innings and allowed just three hits but earned no decision in 3-0 road win (4/21)

PREP
• Three-year letterwinner in baseball as pitcher, first baseman and outfielder at Christian Brothers under Buster Kelso
• Hit school-record .496, producing 64 hits and school records of 27 doubles, 10 home runs and 71 RBI as senior
• Posted school-record 14-0 mark with record 180 strikeouts and 0.48 ERA in 87 innings as senior
• Named to the Louisville Slugger National High School All-American team
• Also named Western Tennessee All-Conference Division II, All-Metro, Best of Preps - Baseball Athlete of the Year, Tenn. Baseball Report two-way team and all-state
