Cavalier Career 2007-08 • Burst onto the national scene in her first healthy season with the Cavaliers • An honorable mention All-ACC selection • One of three players to start all 34 games for Virginia in 2007-08 • Tallied 14 double-doubles on the year • Averaged 13.1 points and 9.2 rebound per game • Sunk a free throw with two seconds left on the clock in regulation to send the game to overtime in the second round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Old Dominion (March 25) • Scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds against the Lady Monarchs • Had 15 points and seven rebounds in the first round of the NCAA Tournament vs. UCSB (March 23) • Netted a season-high 26 points against Clemson (Feb. 21) • Set a new career-high with five steals at No. 4/4 Maryland (Feb. 8) • Set a school record with 21 rebounds at Florida State (Jan. 26)
2006-07 • Transferred to Virginia and retains two years of eligibility • Redshirted the season after suffering a knee injury while playing for Nigeria in the World Championship in September of 2006
Junior College • One of the top junior college players in the nation • First-team Kodak/WBCA All-American in 2006 • Averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the field as a sophomore at Central Arizona College in 2006 • Selected the ACCAC Women’s Basketball Division I Player of the Week on Dec. 18, 2005 • Helped the Lady Vaqueras remain unbeaten by scoring 22 points and pulling in 17 rebounds in a 91-46 win over Mesa • Then dropped 33 points and 11 rebounds on Glendale in a 126-46 victory • Named the national tournament MVP • Helped defending national champion Central Arizona to a perfect 28-0 record in the regular season and No. 1 NJCAA national ranking • The squad advanced to the 2006 national semifinals • Central Arizona was 61-1 in Mohammed’s two years there
International • Played for Nigeria in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece • For 12th place, had 13 boards and eight points in the win over Korea • Nigeria became the first team from Africa to win an Olympic game • Also played for Nigeria at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Brazil
