Davenport Field - Baseball

Davenport Field | Directions | Additional Photos

The home clubhouse at Davenport Field is a state-of-the-art facility which ranks among the top college facilities following a $5 million expansion project prior to the 2010 season. The spacious clubhouse features player lockers, a film study room, athletic training facility and a large team meeting room in addition to the coaches' locker room.

The Cavaliers can hit comfortably at any time of year thanks to the climate-controlled, indoor batting cages. The batting cages also feature a regulation clay pitching mound, which allows the team train during any weather conditions.

The clubhouse connects directly to the Cavaliers' weight room facility, which was refurbished in 2016 and boasts state-of-the-art workout equipment.

The stadium expansion also included locker rooms for the visiting team and officials as well as the Virginia Baseball Hall of Fame Room.
