Dining Halls
The dining facility in the John Paul Jones Arena is available for all of Virginia's student-athletes. The facility has a serving and dining area of more than 7,900-square feet with a seating capacity of 325. There is an additional 2,100-square feet of kitchen space. The dining area also features flat screen televisions and a club area that can be used for hospitality and entertainment during events. Athletics dining plans are available to all student-athletes. During the academic year, student-athletes and coaches gather for dinner in the dining room Sunday through Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The dining room has a menu specifically designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of student-athletes from all 25 of Virginia's sports programs. Each station in the all-you-care-to-eat dining room focuses on a different food category, including entrees, vegetables, pasta, grilled offerings, sides of important starches, and a daily soup and salad bar featuring fresh fruits and whole grain breads.
