John Paul Jones Arena - Practice Courts

Practice Courts The men's and women's basketball locker room complexes in the John Paul Jones Arena provide Virginia players with an attractive, comfortable and functional area to prepare for practices and games, and relax after the workouts and competition. The locker rooms feature high-quality individual player lockers and surround sound audio systems, and an eight-person hot tub is located just off both shower areas. Team meeting rooms with high definition projectors, video telestrators and theatre seating are included in the complexes and enable coaches to meet with their teams in an efficient and instructional environment. Player lounges feature flat screen televisions and video game systems. The coaching staffs have separate locker, dressing and shower areas. Once in their locker room complex, players can access the various rooms without entering a public area. Both locker room complexes are located off the respective teams' practice courts. The men's locker room is named the "Terry Holland Locker Room" and the women's locker room is the "Debbie Ryan Locker Room " in honor of the two long-time Virginia head coaches.
