Reserved parking adjacent to the Scott Stadium is available exclusively to qualified Virginia Athletics Foundation donors. The University has identified general public parking spaces for the 2011 football season to accommodate fans. Available parking includes UVA parking lots at North Grounds, areas at the Fontaine Research Park, and garages located at Emmet Street & Ivy Road, Central Grounds, the UVA Health System area and in Downtown Charlottesville.
Below you will find a comprehensive description of the University of Virginia policies at Scott Stadium. It is the athletics department's wish that all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience, and we believe that these policies will aid in accomplishing that endeavor.
All guests entering Scott Stadium must have a valid ticket to gain admission to the stadium unless they are two years old or younger. Once guests enter the stadium, they may not exit and re-enter.
Alcoholic beverages or containers of any kind are NOT permitted inside athletics facilities. Persons identified with alcohol will be asked to leave the premises. Intoxicated guests will be subject to removal from the facility.
Animals are not permitted in or around athletics facilities grounds, with the exception of trained service animals for our guests with disabilities.
Announcements and Paging
Announcements and paging will be done only in the case of an emergency. If a family member at home needs to reach a fan attending the game, please call 434-924-3820 for more assistance.
ATM machines are located along the East and West sides on the lower concourse at sections 106 and 126.
Banners, Signs, and Flags
Banners, signs and flags are allowed in athletics facilities provided they do not impede another guest's view of the competition, cover any facility signage, and/or are not attached to the facility. Banners, signs, and flags on poles or sticks are prohibited. Athletics Event Management reserves the right to remove any banner, sign, or flag that is in violation of the policy.
All bus and RV parking is available on a first come, first served basis at the Lannigan Track and Field grass area. There is no overnight parking available.
Cameras with lenses less than six inches are allowed, however flash photography and stands/tripods are prohibited.
Chairbacks are available for game-by-game and season rentals. Single game rentals will be sold at all gates for $5 on football game days. The chairbacks do not need to be brought back to the place of purchase and can be left in the stands following the game.
Football season ticketholders may request for chairbacks to be installed in their seats for the entire season. Contact the Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 or click here for more information regarding season chairbacks.
Code of Conduct
University of Virginia Athletics events should be an enjoyable experience for all guests. In order to promote athletic excellence and fan enjoyment, we ask for your assistance in displaying a high degree of sportsmanship at all times. Should you encounter any problems, please notify a member of the Event Staff.
The University of Virginia reserves the right to remove from the stadium those individuals whose conduct disrupts players, coaches, officials or other guests.
Concessions & Merchandise
Concession stands are located throughout the stadium concourses. Merchandise stands are located at the East and West Gates as well in the South end zone on the lower and upper concourses. Credit cards are accepted at most concession stands and all merchandise stands.

Seating for Guests with Disabilities
Disabled seating is located in the South End Zone on levels 3 and 5. Customers who require special assistance are urged to make all ticket arrangements well in advance by contacting the Virginia athletics ticket office at 434-924-UVA1 or 800-542-UVA1.
The South end zone has two elevators to accommodate suiteholders and disabled guests. The northwest and northeast elevators only provide access to suiteholders.
Family/Special Needs Restrooms
In accordance with Atlantic Coast Conference and University of Virginia policies, guests are prohibited from coming onto the field or court at any time. Only participants, coaches, officials, and authorized personnel shall be allowed in the competition area before, during, and at the conclusion of the competition. This policy is for your safety and the safety of the officials, student-athletes, and coaches
First Aid Rooms
First aid facilities are located throughout Scott Stadium in the following locations:
- South - Full Medical Station on lower and upper concourses
- Northwest - Partial Medical Station on lower concourse
- Northeast - Partial Medical Station onlower concourse
Rescue squad members are located stationed the stadium for guest assistance. Event staff is also available throughout the stadium to help guests located first aid assistance.
All gates open two hours before each home football game.
Grills Charcoal grills are not permitted. Propane grills are only allowed if the propane tank is less than 5 pounds. Open flames other than grills are not permitted.
Lost and Found
During the game, the Lost and Found station is located in the South Concourse behind section 116. Following each game, items will be taken to the Facilities & Operations Office located in University Hall. Contact telephone is 434-982-5022.

Prohibited items at Scott Stadium include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial noisemakers
- Balls, Frisbees, and similar items
- Containers (including plastic or glass bottles, cans, coolers, or flasks)
- Food and Beverages
- Strollers (except umbrella strollers)
* The University of Virginia reserves the right to prohibit any item deemed hazardous or disruptive to the sports contest or the enjoyment of the contest by other guests. All bags are subject to inspection by event staff.
In order to expedite entrance into the stadium, it is recommended that guests not bring bags to games and arrive early at the facility gates..

Request for Assistance
All requests for assistance and reports of discourtesy should be directed to event staff. Event staff personnel are positioned at each section throughout the stadium for convenience.
Restrooms for men and women are located beneath all permanent stands and can be reached by exiting any portal. Family/Special Needs restrooms are located in the following locations: Sections 114, 118, 501, 518, 522 and 539
All guests are subject to inspection and search for prohibited items. All persons entering the facility will be subject to a visual search by stadium personnel before entering the gates. Event Staff also will examine the contents of personal handbags. Guests will be asked to open their bags to provide Event Staff the opportunity to observe the contents. If an item needs to be removed so the Event Staff member can see the remaining items in the bag, the guest will be asked to remove the item. The same procedure will be followed for items in a guest's pockets. The guest will be asked to remove the item so the staff member can observe the pocket's contents. If a guest is wearing a jacket, he/she will be asked to unzip the jacket and hold it open so that Event Staff can visually observe inside the jacket.

The University of Virginia prohibits smoking in all of its facilities, including athletics facilities. There are designated smoking areas at Scott Stadium's southwest and east gates.

For the safety of student athletes, coaches, guests, and Event Staff, throwing objects in any athletics facility is prohibited. Violators are subject to removal from the facility.

All ticket holders will enter Scott Stadium via a scanned entry acquired from the bar code located at the bottom of each game ticket. A hand-held ticket scanner at each entrance will read the bar code on your ticket.
Please allow a few additional minutes of time for entry into games. Please make sure that each person in your party presents their tickets individually. Please do not present a group of tickets to the attendant.
Virginia Athletics Foundation Parking
The parking lots surrounding the stadium are reserved for Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF) members. Click here to review a map and learn more. A parking permit is required for entrance into these lots. All passes must be displayed on rearview mirror or dashboard at all times. Cars without passes are subject to towing at the owners' expense or to being ticketed.
It is the responsibility/decision of the University of Virginia to tow or ticket cars on game day. Lost, misplaced, or stolen VAF permits will not be replaced. VAF permits will not be available on game day. All permits are limited to one pass for one space. Tailgating will need to be confined to the area immediately behind your vehicle.
