Virginia To Host Pokémon Go Event Thursday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Virginia Athletics will host a Pokémon Go event at Scott Stadium on Thursday (July 21) from 6-8 p.m. Joining the internet craze of Pokémon Go, UVA is inviting fans to come to Scott Stadium to try and catch them all.

Fans can enter Scott Stadium from the West Gate beginning at 6 p.m. and the stadium will remain open to the public until 8 p.m. Free parking is available adjacent to the West Gate.

Many Pokémon currently inhabit Scott Stadium as fans will have access to all seating areas, concourses and the playing field. Please note that fans will not have access to the suite level or Bryant Hall.

While at the stadium, fans may pick up 2016 football posters, schedule cards and magnets. Also, fans can enter to win a four-pack of tickets to a home ACC football game of their choice. Complimentary Aquafina bottled water will be available for fans at the West Gate.­­
