Brett Parker joined the Cavalier football program in 2016 as a graphic designer and recruiting assistant. He helps to identify and evaluate potential student-athletes, maintain recruiting databases and assist with the planning and coordination of prospective student-athletes visits to the University. He helps to supervise the program's use of social media in the recruitment process.

Parker spent two years on head coach Bronco Mendenhall's staff at BYU as a student intern working as a recruiting specialist. In addition to his recruiting duties, he assisted with film breakdowns and statistical records.

Parker graduated from BYU in 2016 with an undergraduate degree in history. He began his collegiate experience at Texas A&M where he was a member of the Aggies' track and field program. He also ran track at BYU, but ended his running career following the spring of 2014. He is a native of Kingwood, Texas.
