Emily Stolkowski joined the Virginia athletics department in January of 2013 as an administrative assistant. She works with the Cavalier field hockey and women's lacrosse programs in addition to assisting the senior associate director of athletics for programs and the associate director of athletics for programs.

Prior to coming to UVa, Stolkowski was the assistant to the athletic director at East Stroudsburg for seven years. She was responsible for the coordination, planning and implementation for all home events and post season contests. She oversaw facility scheduling, gameday staffing, venue logistics, concessions and marketing and promotional efforts.

She previously worked on the accounting staff for the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., was a marketing associate at Protech and Associates and worked in sales and as a controller for the Music City Motorplex in Nashville. She was a volunteer track and field coach at Lafayette College from 2005 to 2008. She has participated in the NCAA Leadership Institute for Ethnic Minority for Males and Females.

A native of Pittsburgh, Stolkowski received her undergraduate degree in parks and recreation/resort recreation management and tourism from Slippery Rock in 2001. She completed her master's degree in physical education/sports management from East Stroudsburg in 2003.
