Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Alissa Goldman is an assistant strength and conditioning coach at UVa. She has worked for the department since 2007.

Goldman designs and implements programs addressing the needs of strength, speed and power to increase overall athleticism in UVa's student-athletes.

Goldman has extensive experience as a strength and conditioning coach. Prior to her time at UVa, she served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at South Carolina for four years, Tennessee for three years and Ball State for two years.

Goldman earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from California State University, Fresno in 1995. She finished her master's degree in sports biomechanics from Ball State University in 2000.
