Administrative Assistant - Life Skills

Sue Hildebrand is an administrative assistant for UVa's Life Skills program. She has been in her current position for over six years, but has worked with the athletics department for nearly 33 years.

Hildebrand provides clerical support for the Life Skills Director. Among her duties, she makes copies, faxes, sends Fed Ex packages and prepares travel vouchers. She maintains files on computer and hard copies for future reference.

She also provides support for Life Skills Director's teaching assignments, develops spreadsheets and monitors the student-athlete computer lab. She develops and maintains an accurate system for filing student-athletes' information and also manages online class databases.

Hildebrand enters information on the Life Skills website. She also coordinates with vendors to ensure orders, deliveries and/or reservations are efficiently carried out. She counts money and processes receipts collected for submission to the Athletics Business office.

Hildebrand attends Maple Grove Christian Church.

Hildebrand and her husband, Richard, live in Barboursville, Va. She has one son, David Stebbins. He and his wife, Mary, have two children: Kayleigh and Keller.
