Administrative Assistant

Sharon McCauley is an administrative assistant in the Athletics Department and has worked in the department from 1991-1993 and currently since 1997.

McCauley has worked in several positions over the years -- nine years working for Associate Athletics Director for Football Gerry Capone in the Football Office, four years in the Compliance Office, six years working for Executive Associate Athletics Director Jon Oliver, three years and currently working for the Men's Golf and Wrestling programs, two years working for the Sports Psychology and Sports Nutrition departments, and in the past year is now also working for the Baseball and Men's Tennis programs. Sharon is also the Transportation Coordinator for all 20 of the Olympic Sports.

She has served on the rewards and recognition committee for the athletics department. She also earned a Teamwork Award in December 2010.

In addition to being a graduate of Grafton High School, in Grafton, W.Va., McCauley also earned an associate's degree in business from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 1991 and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

McCauley has a son, Christopher and his wife, Joby, as well as their two boys, Braddock "Brady", and Sullivan, "Sully". She also has a daughter, Shannon and her husband, Mark Marshall, who have a son, Caden. She resides in Lake Monticello.
