Assistant Equipment Manager


Reuben Victoria joined the UVA equipment staff in 2015 as an assistant manager.

He handles day-to-day operations in the football equipment room and is responsible for practice preparation, overseeing the student-manager program, laundry, equipment fittings and maintaining the department's inventory. He also assists the football staff with recruiting displays.

Prior to arriving at UVA, he spent a year as an intern in the equipment department at Northwestern as the recipient of the Big Ten's annual athletic equipment manager internship. He assisted the football equipment staff with day-to-day operations, along with game day operations and prep. He was responsible for the ordering, inventorying, issuing and laundry duties for the baseball and wrestling teams as well as the spirit squad. He worked daily with the UA online ordering system and managed the equipment department’s social media accounts.

Victoria graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 2014 with a degree in sports management. As an undergraduate, he worked as a student manager for the football team and as an intern in the equipment room.
