Assistant Equipment Manager

John "Cowboy" Truslow is in his 15th year with the Virginia athletics department and has served as an assistant equipment manager since 1997. Truslow is responsible for ordering, issuing, and overseeing all equipment needs for the Cavalier field hockey, wrestling, men's and women's golf, men's tennis and women's lacrosse teams.

Prior to working at UVa, Truslow served in the United States Marine Corps from 1987-92. A native of Afton, Va., Truslow is currently pursuing a degree in police science from Piedmont Virginia Community College.
