2001-2002- A first-team All-American in the 1650 free (third) and 500 free (fourth) ... an honorable mention All-American in the 800 free relay (10th) ... also swam the 200 butterfly at NCAAs ... the ACC champion in the 1650 free and 500 free for the third consecutive year ... was seventh in the 200 fly at ACCs ... also helped UVa win the 800 free relay at ACCs ... a three-time ACC Swimmer of the Week.
2000-2001: on the NCAA title in the 1650 free with a school and ACC record time of 15:53.86 ... also garnered first-team All-America honors by finishing third in the 500 free and eighth in the 200 butterfly ... an honorable mention All-American in the 800 free relay (11th) ... named the ACC Swimmer of the Year as well as the ACC Meet Most Valuable Swimmer for the second consecutive year ... won ACC titles in the 500 free, 1650 free and 200 butterfly ... the Cavaliers' team MVP ... a three-time ACC Swimmer of the Week ... competed in the 400 free, 800 free and 200 fly at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials ... best finish at the trials was 13th in the 200 fly.
