2011-12 • Earned All-ACC honors with a second-place finish in the 500 free (4:20.78) at ACCs • Placed fourth in the mile (15:19.79) and 11th in the 400 IM (3:53.66) at the conference meet • Had a season-best time in the prelims of the 500 free (4:20.38) and 400 IM (3:53.51) at ACCs • Season-best mile (15:08.76) came at the Georgia Fall Invite • Picked up seven individual dual meet wins (4x - 1000 free, 3x - 500 free)
2010-11 • Competed in the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle events at his first NCAA Championships • Collected his first career All-America accolade with an honorable mention showing in the 500 freestyle, placing 13th in 4:20.05 • His prelim time of 4:19.59 was his fastest of the season • Also finished 24th in the 1650 freestyle (15:16.02) at NCAAs • Earned all-conference honors with a third-place performance in the 500 freestyle (4:19.35) at the ACC Championships • Took fourth in the 1650 freestyle with a mark of 15:10.39 at ACCs • Placed seventh in the 400 individual medley (3:52.40) at the conference meet
