Volunteer Assistant - Distance

Rob Watson joined the UVa staff in 2014 as a volunteer assistant coach, where he works mostly with the distance student-athletes.

Watson finished 20th in the marathon at the 2013 IAAF World Championships and eighth in the same event at the 2015 Pan American Games, representing his native Canada. He is also a two-time Canadian national champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Watson graduated from Colorado State in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in history.
