EARLYSVILLE, Va.—Redshirt freshman Jack St. Marie of the Virginia men’s cross country team won the Virginia/Panorama Farms Open Saturday morning (Nov. 3) in Earlysville, Va.

The Westlake, Ohio, native won the men’s 5K race in a time of 15:21.68, while Haley Pierce, running unattached, claimed the women’s 5K race in 18:16.69.

Junior Colette Gnade (Waukee, Iowa) was the top UVa finisher on the women’s side, placing 10th overall in 20:35.34.

The Cavaliers return to action Friday (Nov. 9) for the NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlotte, N.C.
