CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Virginia men’s and women’s track and field teams compete at the Notre Dame Invitational Saturday (Jan. 21) at the Loftus Sports Center in Notre Dame, Ind.

Live results will be available at VirginiaSports.com. Field events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with track events slated for a noon start. UVA will compete against student-athletes from DePaul, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina and Notre Dame.

Virginia’s men are ranked No. 19 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings. Notre Dame’s women are currently No. 9 in the USTFCCCA rankings, while Michigan’s women are tabbed No. 12.

Last weekend, freshman Jordan Scott (Portmore, Jamaica) broke the UVA freshman record in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 15.78m (51’ 9.75”) at the Virginia Tech Invitational in Blacksburg, Va. Senior Christine Bohan (Avon Lake, Ohio) won the women’s shot put to join Scott as Cavalier event winners.

Next up, the Cavaliers travel to Lynchburg, Va., on Jan. 28 for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational.
