Scott Named ACC Male Field Performer of the Week

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-  Virginia track and field sophomore Jordan Scott (Portmore, Jamaica) was named ACC Male Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday (Feb. 6).

Scott topped the triple jump at the Power Five Invitational, hosted by Michigan, last Sunday, recording a mark of 15.98m (52’5.25”). The performance ranked ninth in the NCAA this season.

It is the second time this season that Scott has earned the ACC weekly honor.

Scott and the Cavaliers will compete at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C., and the Valentine’s Invitational in Boston, Mass., this weekend (Feb. 9).
