McKee Named ACC Female Field Performer of the Week

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-  Virginia junior Kelly McKee (Lenexa, Kan.) was named ACC Female Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday (Feb. 13), for her effort in the triple jump and long jump at the Tiger Paw Invitational last weekend.

McKee finished fourth in the triple jump, recording a career-best mark of 12.99m (42’7.5”). Her performance ranks 18th in the NCAA and paces the ACC this season. The effort also ranks third in UVA indoor history.

In the long jump, McKee placed 19th at the meet with a season-best mark of 5.84m (19’2”).

The Cavaliers will compete Friday (Feb. 16) at the UCS Invitational in Winston Salem, N.C.
