CHARLOTTESVILLE - The Virginia men's and women's track and field teams travel to Virginia Tech this week for the 2013 ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meet will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Rector Field House in Blacksburg. Live results and streaming video coverage of the meet will be available at the ACC Championship website.

Both the Virginia men and women finished fourth at last year's ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston. Two Cavaliers will be looking to defend their ACC titles from that meet, Pearl Bickersteth in the women's high jump and Mark Amirault in the men's 5000m.

The meet begins at noon on Thursday with the women's pentathlon and the first day of the men's heptathlon. Friday's action includes the conclusion of the heptathlon, the preliminaries of the 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, mile and 60m hurdles, the finals of the 5000m, high jump, long jump, weight throw and distance medley relay. Saturday's schedule includes the finals of the 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, mile and 60m hurdles, along with the 3000m, triple jump, pole vault and 4x400m relays.
