Mihaljevic Named ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Virginia track and field junior Filip Mihaljevic has been named the ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week for the second-consecutive week, the conference announced Tuesday (May 3).

Mihaljevic (Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina) won the discus at the Highlander Invitational in Radford, Va., on Friday (April 29) with a throw of 61.12m (200’ 6”), the best mark of the week in the NCAA. The junior thrower also had the seventh- and ninth-best NCAA throws of the week in the competition.

It is Mihaljevic’s sixth career ACC weekly award.
