CHARLOTTESVILLE -

The Virginia track and field program announced Wednesday the finalized schedule for the Virginia Challenge, the teams' final home meet of the season. The meet will be held Friday and Saturday at Lannigan Field and admission is free.

The meet begins at 3 p.m. on Friday with the start of the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon. Friday's field events will begin at 3:40 p.m. and the track events will start at 7:10 p.m. Saturday's schedule begins at 2 p.m. with the continuation of the multi events and the start of that day's field events. Saturday's track events start at 3:30 p.m. with the sprints and the distance events begin at 6:15 p.m.
