CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Two members of the Virginia men’s track and field team are set to compete on the international stage this weekend. Rising junior Filip Mihaljevic will compete at the Balkan Senior Athletics Championships in Pitesti, Romania, while rising sophomore Chase Weaverling will run at the Panamerican Junior Athletics Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.

Mihaljevic will represent Croatia in the discus after winning the event at the Croatian National Championships last weekend in Varaždin. He threw a mark of 62.42m to capture the national title.
