NEW ORLEANS—The Virginia men’s cross country team has moved back into the national rankings in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll, the organization announced Tuesday (Oct. 30).

The Cavalier men are ranked No. 21 after dropping out of the last national poll, which was released on Oct. 16. The men have also moved up in the USTFCCCA Southeast Region poll from No. 6 to No. 3. The women stay steady at No. 6 in the regional rankings.

The men finished second at the Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday (Oct. 27) in Blacksburg, Va., while the women placed sixth.
