Demarest Earns USTFCCCA All-America Honors

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– Virginia senior Brent Demarest (Charleston, S.C.) earned All-America cross country honors as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association on Monday (Nov. 20). Demarest is the first Cavalier to earn cross country All-America honors since 2013.

Demarest paced the Cavaliers at the NCAA Cross Country Championships last weekend, finishing 19th overall with a time of 29.43.6. His overall finish tied for second best in school history.

The honor is the first for Demarest.
