March 1, 2012 - Cavman's Crew, the official kids' club of Virginia Athletics, has a number of interactive events scheduled for its members during the spring 2012 athletics seasons.
Every Sunday home baseball game features running of the bases and autographs with the team after the game.
Join the Virginia softball team on Saturday, April 7 for a post-game Easter egg hunt and autograph session.
Be sure to visit the Dick's Sporting Goods Pre-Game Fan Zone before the men's lacrosse games on March 4 (Syracuse, 4:30 p.m. opening faceoff), March 24 (Johns Hopkins, 2 p.m.), and April 13 (Duke, 6 p.m.) and before the women's lacrosse games on March 10 (North Carolina, 1 p.m. opening draw) and March 31 (Boston College, 1 p.m.). The Fan Zone opens one hour before the start of each game.
Cavman's Crew is free to join. Members receive a free t-shirt, seven vouchers for complimentary admission to select home Virginia Athletics events, including: men's and women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse and baseball games. Members may also use vouchers to purchase a $5 ticket for select non-conference men's basketball games.
Cavman's Crew members also receive a special coupon from McDonald's, the chance to be selected as the McDonald's Ball Kid for Virginia football and basketball games, and notification of special events for youth and families.
