Recorded the game-winning hit when he lined a RBI-single to score teammate Luis Giraldo to upset the #1 ranked Florida State Seminoles by the score of 2-1 on April 2nd ... Had an outstanding game by recording a career-high four hits in a single game after going 4-5 at the plate with a RBI and a run scored against Virginia Tech on April 19th ... Had a solid weekend in the North Carolina series after going 5-11 at the plate with four RBI and three runs scored, including a 3-4 with two runs out outing on April 23rd ... Turned in an outstanding performance against Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament (5/19) after going 2-5 at the plate (including a home run and a double) and tying his career-high with four RBI to add with two runs scored in Virginia's 8-3 victory ... Enjoyed a career-long tying seven-game hitting streak during which he hit .391 (9-for-23) ... Also enjoyed a six-game streak during which time he hit .500 (12-for-24) with two doubles, seven runs, three RBI and two or more hits in five of the six games ... Went 4-for-6 with three runs, a double and three RBI in a Feb. 20 doubleheader against Penn State ... Collected a career-high two doubles in four trips to the plate Feb. 27 against Seton Hall ... Went 3-for-6 with three runs, two doubles and two RBI in a March 6 doubleheader against Rhode Island ... Went 2-for-3 with a double March 14 at Florida State ... Led the team with a .362 batting average, to go along with seven doubles, three homers and 20 RBI ... Hit .405 against ACC opponents ... had 11 multi-hit games on the season ... Finished the year with a six-game hitting streak ... Was 6-for-11 during the ACC Tournament ... Went 2-for-4 in last game against Florida State with a double, a triple and an RBI ... Was 2-for-5 with a double, a homer and four RBI at VCU ... Went 2-for-4 in second game against James Madison, with a game-winning two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning ... Homered in win over St. John's ... Was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI at Virginia Tech ... Had a seven-game hitting streak from Mar. 28-Apr. 8, during which he went 12-for-24 (.500) ... Went 3-for-4 with a double in the victory over Clemson ... Went 5-for-7 with a homer, four runs scored and three RBI in the North Carolina series ... Had a pinch-hit RBI double at James Madison ...
