Allowed no earned runs on two hits with two walks and a career-high 12 strike outs through five and two-thirds innings Feb. 20 against Penn State for his first win of the season ... Enjoyed a stretch in that game during which he struck out eight of nine batters and retired 11 straight ... Picked up the win March 6 against Rhode Island, tossing a career-high eight innings and allowing four earned runs on five hits with eight strike outs ... Pitched four innings of scoreless relief April 2 against Georgia Tech ...
