Virginia Head Coach Brian O'Connor
Opening Comments

"Obviously a great win for our program. I couldn't be more happy or proud of a team. Two of our top guns go out and guy guys step in and get clutch hits. That defines great teams. The guys take a lot of pride in wearing the Virginia uniform."

On bringing in Casey...
"If we had a chance to win I was going to bring in Casey Lambert. It so important to be 2-0 in the regional and we're just happy to be here."

#6 Tim Henry
"On how the win ranks during his time at Virginia... It's right up there. Everyone knows game 2 is important to win. We had some things not go our way, but that was one of the best games during my time at UVa."

On his emotion...
"I wasn't the only emotional guy on the team. There were a lot of guys jumping up and down in the dugout, but it was a pretty emotional game."

#22 John Scaglione
"On his hit late in the game to take the lead for good... It was one of the biggest hits in my life and one of the biggest games in UVa's program."

#4 Casey Lambert
On how the team responded during the game...
"We've been talking all week about teamwork and we had our top two guys go out, but Scaglione came in and has one of the biggest hits of the season."

Oregon State Head Coach Pat Casey
Opening Comments

"It was a long baseball game, we had some opportunities, but we weren't able to capitalize on them."

On the defensive pressure Virginia put on them early...
"We turned a nice double play and I thought we defended well and kept them from scoring early. We have to win the games we play and we have got to get ready to play tomorrow."

#44 Eddie Kunz
On giving up the big hit to Scaglione...
"I was hitting my spots where I wanted to hit, but he just hit my pitch."

#6 Scotty Berke
On his homerun...

"He started me off with three curveballs and I was just sitting on it. We've really got to come together right now, we've had our backs against the wall, and it was a tough game, we had a lot of chances, but sometimes there's nothing you can do about it, that's baseball."
