Virginia-Coastal Carolina Game Cancelled

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. The baseball game between No. 13 Virginia and No. 18 Coastal Carolina, scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, has been cancelled because of a forecast for inclement weather. The game will not be rescheduled.

The cancellation was made today in part because of Coastal Carolina’s travel plans. The Chanticleers were scheduled to make the seven-hour bus trip from Myrtle Beach, S.C., today in preparation for the contest Tuesday.

Fans with tickets for this game may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or (b) bring their ticket stub to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Virginia’s next home game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday with Radford.
