Virginia-VCU Game Cancelled

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Tuesday night Virginia-VCU baseball game has been cancelled because of inclement weather. The game will not be rescheduled.

Fans may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or (b) bring their ticket stub to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

The teams played an inning and a half before the lightning delay began. After a 95-minute delay, the game was called.

Virginia returns to action this weekend with a series at Boston College. The teams will play at 2:30 p.m. Friday, 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
