Information for NCAA Championship Tickets
Virginia Athletics has placed a bid to bring NCAA championship baseball back to Charlottesville in 2007! Should Virginia be selected to host one of 16 NCAA Regional tournaments, postseason games will be played at Davenport Field between June 1st - 4th. Each Regional is a double-elimination tournament consisting of 4 teams playing a total of 6 games (7 if necessary), with the winner advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals.
All-session tournament ticket booklets will be available for purchase, offering admission to all games in the tournament. Ticket booklets will be available for a cost of $56 each for Reserved seating, and $40 each for General Admission seating, subject to availability. Purchasing a tournament booklet in advance is the only way to guarantee the ability to attend all games of the tournament, and provides a cost savings over purchasing single-game tickets.
2007 baseball season ticket holders have the option of pre-ordering ticket booklets for the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals through the priority seating date of May 14th. Seating will be based on Virginia Athletic Foundation Priority Points, followed by the date the order is received. In the event that Reserved tickets are unavailable at the time of seating, orders will be filled with General Admission tickets unless otherwise noted. In addition, should Virginia not be selected to host a postseason tournament, the season ticket holder's credit card will not be charged. Season ticket holders can place their NCAA tournament ticket order by logging into their online account here.
Tickets for the NCAA Regionals will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, May 16th, with all tickets available for pick up at Bryant Hall beginning Wednesday, May 30th. Tickets will also be available for pick up at the Davenport Field Will Call windows beginning 2 hours prior to the game. Should Virginia not be selected to host a postseason tournament, all customers will receive a full refund of their order charge.
