Virginia-N.C. State Baseball Postponed Until 5 p.m. Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE - The Virginia-North Carolina State baseball game was postponed Friday night after deluge forced a delay in play. After a one-hour, 22-minute delay, play was officially suspended until 5 p.m. Saturday, when the game will pick up in the bottom of the eighth inning with the score tied at two. Virginia had a runner at third and no outs when play was stopped.

The originally-scheduled 6 p.m. game will start at its original time or 30 minutes after the completion of the first game - whichever comes later. The fireworks display after the second game will go on as scheduled.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. for the day. Tickets from Friday's game will be valid for the completion of the suspended game only. Reserved tickets for game two will not be honored until the completion of game one.

Parking will be available at University Hall and Emmet-Ivy Garage.
