ARMY POST-GAME NOTES
• Army is making its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance and now has a 3-11 all-time record in NCAA postseason games
• The Black Knights had their season-high eight-game winning streak snapped
• Army suffered its second consecutive 2-1 loss in NCAA Tournament play (lost 2-1 in 10 innings to Oklahoma in an elimination game in the 2012 NCAA Tournament)
• The Black Knights had one run and five hits, marking their fewest in both categories in 10 games
• Starting pitcher Chris Rowley threw seven innings, his eighth consecutive start that lasted at least seven innings
• Patrick Mescher's single in the 2nd inning extended his hitting streak to a season-best eight games
• Grant Van Orden had his 13th RBI of the season with his suicide squeeze bunt in the 5th inning
