UNC WILMINGTON POST-GAME NOTES

• UNC Wilmington’s appearance in the 2013 NCAA Regional serves as the program’s sixth all-time NCAA Tournament appearance
• The Seahawks are now 8-11 in the NCAA Tournament
• UNC Wilmington has lost six of its last seven games and will face Army for the first time in program history in Saturday’s elimination game.
• The Seahawks scored six of their seven runs with two outs
• UNC Wilmington was 5-of-12 with runners in scoring position, but only placed one runner in scoring position after plating two runs in the sixth inning
• UNC Wilmington pitching allowed 4-of-9 leadoff batters for Elon to reach base
• Four Seahawks extended hitting streaks: Dick (4), LaGrange (4), Molinaro (4) and Connelly (3)
• Luis Renvill’s five-game hitting streak was snapped after pinch-hitting in the eighth inning
• Corey Dick had his 14th multiple-hit game of the season and his fifth three-hit game
• Terrence Connelly had his ninth multiple-hit game of the season with his two-hit day
• Andy Austin had his first multiple-RBI game of the season
