Virginia-UC Irvine Super Regional Will Re-Start at 6:30


CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The second game of the NCAA Charlottesville Super Regional between Virginia and UC Irvine has been delayed because of rain. The game will re-start at 6:30 p.m. Stadium gates will re-open at 5:45 p.m.

The game was stopped at 2:21 p.m. just as Virginia took the field for the bottom of the fifth inning. At the time Virginia held a 3-0 lead.

UVa holds a 1-0 edge in the series.

The game will air on ESPNU and ESPN3.com.
