Virginia opens College World Series play at 7 p.m. CT Sunday against Ole Miss. The CWS features an initial round of double-elimination play within two pools of four teams each. The winners of each pool advance to play in the finals series, which is a best two-out-of-three competition. UVa's pool also includes Texas Tech and TCU.
As a CWS participant, Virginia receives 700 tickets for each game in which the Cavaliers play, including tickets to be used for team seating. Virginia will not receive tickets for games in which the Cavaliers do not play.
Reserved tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday (June 10) to Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and Virginia baseball season ticket holders. If tickets remain available, a public sale will be held June 11-12; fans must have a currently existing Virginia Athletics Ticket Office account in order to purchase tickets. Donors and season ticket holders can log in here to order tickets online. Virginia will not block any rooms for UVa fans for the CWS.
