Marlon Stewart joined the Virginia men's basketball staff in 2012. He served as the video coordinator for the University of California men's basketball program for the previous four seasons.

During his time at California, the Golden Bears won a Pac-10 championship, reached the NCAA Tournament three times and the National Invitational Tournament once. Marlon assisted the coaching staff with self and opponent scouting, created highlight and recruiting videos, and managed the use of social technologies.

Prior to Stewart's tenure at California he worked for five seasons as a student-manager at Washington State University for head coaches Dick and Tony Bennett. His responsibilities included managing the video responsibilities, as well as a wide range of tasks in practice and with day-to-day operations.

Stewart and his wife, Carmen, reside in Charlottesville.
