• Virginia's (15-6, 5-3 ACC) five-game winning streak vs. Georgia Tech ended with the loss.
• The Cavaliers allowed an ACC-high 66 points in the loss. Virginia had held its first seven ACC opponents under 60 points.
• UVa led at the half (37-28) for the 12th time overall and third time in ACC games.

Player Notes
Joe Harris scored 18 points to become the 44th Cavalier to score 1,000 career points.
• Harris made four 3-pointers to move into seventh place on Virginia's career list with 163.
