• Virginia posted its first NCAA Tournament win and advanced to the round of 32 for the first time since 2007

• Virginia posted its 29th win of the season, its most since 29 wins in 1982-83
• The Cavaliers won their 14th road/neutral game of the season, most since 18 in 1982-83
• The Cavaliers held their 22nd straight opponent under 50% shooting

• Virginia improved to 7-4 this season when trailing at the half

• Akil Mitchell (787 rebs) moved into a seventh place tie on Virginia's career rebounding list, passing Chris Williams (786 rebs, 1999-02) and tying Ted Jeffries (787 rebs, 1990-93)
