Virginia Announces Postseason NCAA Ticket Plan

Charlottesville, VA - If the University of Virginia is invited to the 2007 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament the following ticket policy will be implemented. Sites and dates are to be determined on Sunday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. EST on CBS. Each participating team receives a limited number of tickets from the NCAA.

Ticket Eligibility and Ordering Process

Virginia Athletics Foundation donors with 2006 annual giving contributions at the Orange & Blue Club level ($2,200) and above will be able to REQUEST 2007 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament tickets on-line through beginning at 9:00 pm on Sunday, March 11 and again on Sunday, March 18 (should Virginia advance to the regional rounds). Requests may also be made in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall or by calling 1-800-542-8821 on Monday, March 12 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Requests will be filled based on Virginia Athletics Foundation priority points. If tickets remain after 2:00 pm they will be open to purchase from all other donors and men's basketball season ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis. All orders will be confirmed by 7:00 p.m. Monday via email. The University reserves the right to implement ticket limits per account if demand exceeds supply.

Should Virginia advance to the Final Four, tickets can be requested using the same process as described above.
