CHARLOTTESVILLE - The Virginia men's basketball team is ranked No. 25 in the nation in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll. The ranking is the first for the Cavaliers since December 27, 2004, when they were ranked No. 25 in both The Associated Press and ESPN/USAToday polls.

Virginia is 4-0 on the season with victories over nationally-ranked Arizona (93-90), Morgan State (85-66), UNC Asheville (81-64) and Maryland-Eastern Shore (104-63).

The Cavaliers play their first road game of the season on Wednesday (Nov. 29) at Purdue (4-1) in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.
