Clint Sintim enters his first season on Mike London's staff as a graduate assistant after a three-year NFL career with the New York Giants. His duties will include working with assistant coach Marques Hagans and the UVa wide receivers.

Sintim joins London's staff after spending one season as the outside linebackers coach at West Alabama. He also assisted with special teams duties for the Tigers. Sintim worked at West Alabama as part of the National Football League Players Association Coaching Internship Program.

Sintim returns to Charlottesville where he was a four-year letterwinner at linebacker for UVa and a team captain. Sintim was a freshman All-American in 2005 and the ACC Defensive Freshman of the Year. By 2007 Sintim was a first-team All-ACC performer who was third on the team with 77 tackles and second on the team with 9.0 sacks. His efforts helped UVa to a 9-3 regular season mark and an appearance in the 2008 Gator Bowl.

Leading the nation in linebacker sacks in 2008 with 11.0, Sintim was the New York Giants' second-round selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Giants and was a member of their Super Bowl XLVI championship team.

Sintim graduated from the University of Virginia in 2009 with a degree in anthropology.
