AT VIRGINIA: 2006-Intelligent player who saw action in all 12 games, starting the final 11 ... finished sixth on the team with 56 total tackles ... credited with breaking up three pass attempts ... had a season-high 10 tackles in match up with Virginia Tech ... recorded 40 of his 56 tackles in final seven games ... managed his first quarterback sack against Maryland ... also had tackles for loss in back-to-back games vs. Florida State and Miami ... earned his second letter. 2005-Joined the team as a walk-on following a tryout in the spring ... slowly worked his way up the depth chart ...didn't see his first playing time until the Temple game in the eighth game ...started against Georgia Tech the following week and remained in the starting line-up thereafter ...played on the kickoff and punt return teams, as well as at safety, in his debut against Temple ...made two stops in his first start against Georgia Tech ...also had a quarterback pressure in the game ...recorded five tackles against Virginia Tech ...led the team with a career-high eight tackles against Miami ...was in on five tackles, including four solo stops, in the Music City Bowl win over Minnesota ... recorded his first tackle for loss in the game ... earned his first letter.
