Charlottesville, Va. - The second episode of the popular "Building of a Program" television show will make its debut at 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27 on Comcast SportsNet. This episode will also air on Friday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 1 at 9 a.m.

The second show includes in-depth profiles and behind-the-scenes footage of Virginia's running backs and quarterbacks and features the program's trainer, Kelli Pugh and assistant coach Shawn Mooreand his son, Michael, a freshman defensive end. The second episode also includes highlights from the team's final scrimmage.

"As coach Mike Londonand the staff enter their third season, we thought it would be important to continue to highlight their efforts to build the program," Virginia Executive Associate Athletics Director Jon Oliver said. "These episodes will provide our fans the opportunity to learn about the team's development since the end of last season and get to know our players and coaches as kickoff of a new season approaches."

The Virginia athletics department debuted "The Building of the Program" series in 2010 in support of London and the team's preparation leading up to his first season as the Cavaliers' head coach. A total of 18 episodes aired on regional cable television and were available online at "The Building of the Program - The Next Step" aired last season the week before the home opener against William & Mary.
