• Helped lead Hunting Valley University School to its three straight state titles between 2006-2008
• Was named the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cleveland Sun Press and Lake County New-Herald's high school player of the year as a junior and senior
• As a junior he was honored as the Huntington Bank Ohio Player of the Year
• Posted a stroke average of 74.5 as a senior and 72.2 as a junior when he claimed medalist honors at seven eventss and was 11-over-par for the season
• Also lettered on school's swimming and diving team
