Virginia Stands Second at Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn.- The Virginia men's golf team continues to stand second at the Mason Rudolf tournament after the second round on Saturday.

Southern Methodist fired a seven-under 281 to bolt from sixth to first place with a one-under 575 total after 36 holes. The Cavaliers shot a three-under 285 to take over second place outright with a 577 (+1). Baylor stands third with a 580 (+4).

Belmont's Adam Wynia fired a four-under 68 to take over first place with a six-under 138. Vanderbilt's Jon Curran is second with a four-under 140, while five players are tied for third with a three-under 141 each.

Senior Brad Tilley (Chappaqua, N.Y.) shot a two-under 70 to move into a tie for eighth place with a two-under 142. Freshman Conrad Von Borsig (Swarthmore, Pa.) iand senior Carter Henderson (Nashville, Tenn.) are tied for 13th with an even 144 apiece. Henderson tied his career-low of 69 in second round action. Freshman Daniel Kefale (Woodbridge, Va.) shot a 147 (+3), while junior Mark Perry (Atlanta, Ga.) rounded out the Cavaliers scoring with a 154 (+10).

Play concludes at the Mason Rudolph on Oct. 2 in Franklin, Tenn.
