Awendaw, SC The Virginia men’s golf team enters Tuesday’s final round of play at the Hootie @ Bulls Bay Tournament in Awendaw, S.C. in fourth place after shooting 6-under 278 during Monday’s play. UVa’s 36-hole score stands at 2-under 566, one shot behind Central Florida, two strokes behind LSU and eight shots behind tournament leading Augusta State (558). The 15-team field includes nine teams currently ranked in Golfstat’s top-50.

Virginia was led Monday by Cole Willcox’s 3-under 68 that moved him up to 46th place overall after he opened the event with a 9-over 80. Will Collins continues to be UVa’s top scorer, standing fifth overall at 3-under 139, including a 1-under 70 Monday. Conrad Von Borsig joins Collins in the top 10 after shooting 2-under 69 during the second round. He is ninth at 141.

Ben Kohles is 29th overall at 144, including a 71 during the second round. Kyle Stough is 55th at 150.

Augusta State’s Janne Kaske continues to lead the tournament at 8-under 134 after shooting 67 for the second straight day.
